Evita (SEUCH DKUCH SE V-11 Wakefield A Voice Of Freedom) acquires her third and qualifying CACIB in Europe to become a Swedish Champion. In the FCI (Federation Cynologique International) system, a champion must complete his or her title with at least one CACIB being earned at two years of age or greater. Evita also acquires a Danish championship. Marin (Wakefield Maestra) collects two Best Puppy in Shows and a group win in Canada to achieve the majority of her championship points in Canada. Stateside, she picked up her first major in March.
Kona (Ch. Wakefield Face The Music) completes his championship in three dog shows, winning a group from the classes. Paloma (Wakefield Veritas Sacre Bleu) collects three points toward her championship, and will be shown further when she wraps up her first litter (due in July 2012).
Highlights 2011 In show news:
"Holly" (Wakefield This Just In) is shown one weekend from the 9 - 12 puppy class and collects 7 points (including her first major). We look forward to continued success from this promising youngster! "Evita" was shown at the Hogbo-Bruk International Dog Show where she won her fourth CC, second CACIB, and Best of Breed. She was then placed 2nd in Group among most of Sweden's top terriers, and currently stands as #1 Lakeland Terrier in Sweden. At the Terrier Specialty at this same show, "Evita" repeated her breed-level wins and was additionally awarded Best In Show - Youngster and overall Best in Show 4th. Congrats, Ninna! "Evita" (Wakefield A Voice of Freedom) wins Best Junior at the "Championnat de France." Well done, Ninna and Evita! “Ninna and Evita then win Best of Breed at the Swedish Winner Show, along with the “SW-11” title. We look forward to following their continued success in Europe. "Roxy" (Cdn Ch. Delzar Wakefield Sinfonia at Glacierridge) collects three majors towards her American championship, capably handled by co-owner Sara Peterka. Roxy needs just two singles to finish her title in that country, and under Sara's guidance this will no doubt come shortly. "Jenna" (Am/Cdn Ch. Wakefield Terra-Den Misterioso) completes her championship in the United States. "Roxy" (Ch Delzar Wakefield Sinfonia at Glacierridge) debuts in Canada winning three Group 1's to complete her championship. "Evita" (Wakefield A Voice of Freedom) debuts in Sweden with a Best of Breed and the challenge certificate (from the puppy classes) as well as Best Junior. Well done, Evita and Ninna! "Sage" (Ch. Terra-Den Wakefield Misterioso) completes her championship in the United States for proud owner/breeder Eric. Sage was capably handled by Shel Grab, who is now looking at adding a Senior Earthdog title to complement Sage's Junior Earthdog.
Highlights 2010 "Lola" (Am/Aust Champion Sandimorn Kinky Boots) completes her championship in the United States for proud breeder Warren Mowles. She achieved this with four majors and limited exhibition. "Jenna" (Ch. Wakefield Terra-Den Misterioso) is shown two weekends, collecting multiple group 1's and an All-Breed Best in Show from the classes, to complete her championship title at just over 1 year of age. Stateside, she collects four majors and requires one point to complete her title.. "Sage" (Terra-Den Wakefield Mistique, JE) is shown one weekend, collecting a 4-point major in California, followed by a pair of majors. Capably shown by Shel Grab, she also earned a "Junior Earthdog" title, too! "Shelby" (Am/Cdn Ch. Wakefield Just This Once) is shown two weekends in Canada--multiple group wins from the classes made her an easy champion. In the United States, she finished in two weekends with five majors--the final one being a 5-point win going breed over specials. "Met" (Ch. Wakefield English Mettle) comes out of quarantine to make his Australian show debut. He quickly becomes a multiple "Best Exhibit in Group" winner, and completed his Australian championship with a "Runner-Up Best in Show" from the classes. His show career looks promising, and additionally he has been bred to the great champion "Hally" (MBIS Aust Gr. Ch. Sandimorn Hell Hath No Fury). We wish Warren the very best of luck with this young fellow! Our own Australian import, "Lola" (Aust. Ch. Sandimorn Kinky Boots) is shown briefly in the United States, picking up 3 majors for a total of 10 points. In Canada, she has been shown one weekend and collected 8 points at the group level. She should finish shortly, and will be bred in 2011.
